不知道大家有沒有在金馬影展看到The Stone Roses的紀錄片？如果1989年那張同名專輯聽得意猶未盡，總是充滿瘋狂點子的美國迷幻樂團The Flaming Lips將在今年的Record Store Day (11月29日) 推出The Stone Roses首張同名專輯的翻唱專輯。他們找來Poliça翻唱〈She Bangs the Drums〉、Foxygen的Jonathan Rado翻唱〈This Is the One〉、Spaceface翻唱〈Fools Gold〉，其他陣容包括Peaking Lights、Stardeath and White Dwarfs、New Fumes、Def Rain等等。

另外，The Flaming Lips還會在Record Store Day推出一張和Tame Impala一同出的單曲，互相翻唱對方的歌曲。The Flaming Lips翻唱了Tame Impala的〈Runway, Houses, City, Clouds〉和〈Elephant〉，而Tame Impala則翻唱了The Flaming Lips的〈Are You a Hypnotist?〉和〈Silver Trembling Hands〉。

2013/12/10更新：這張翻唱專輯的正式名稱是《The Time Has Come To Shoot You Down…What A Sound》，下方可以試聽The Flaming Lips和New Fumes及饒舌歌手Ke$ha合作的〈Elizabeth My Dear〉。
